“In the child is much knowledge, much wisdom. If we do not profit from it, it is only because of neglect on our part to become humble and to see the wonder of this soul and learn what the child can teach.”

-Maria Montessori

Our Educational Environment

Our goal is to create a space for a child that is safe, nurturing and prepared for a child’s endless abilities. The Montesssori education aims to provide activities to help extend their learning, encourage and develop a child’s interest and independence through a wide range of projects using specific materials, working individually and in groups. We use planned events throughout the term, closely following the interests of the children, sometimes planning in the moment in order to encourage and extend the children’s curiosity and interests. Children are encouraged to learn and develop at their own pace. In well-resourced classrooms supported by an outdoor area, and a spacious indoor play area, to nurture your child’s physical, emotional and intellectual development. The classroom is arranged creatively to encourage independence, freedom within limits and a sense of order as students work with specially designed materials, building a sense of harmony, comfort and giving them the sound foundation for a well-equipped elementary level. The three levels in the Montessori provide the children hands on learning with collaborative play. Children can make creative choices in their learning.
